Lynn Kelly has practiced law in North Texas since 1989 and has represented clients in more than 130 jury trials. After beginning her career as a prosecutor in Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, she handled and eventually supervised litigation matters for the North Texas division of a major insurance carrier. In addition to several years of private law firm experience, Lynn was in-house counsel with a Fort Worth-based Fortune 500 corporate legal department.
A native Texan, Lynn is a graduate of Abilene Christian University and of Pepperdine University School of Law. She was recently selected by her peers for the seventh time to the annual “Top Attorneys” list in Fort Worth, Texas magazine.
Lynn’s practice focuses on:
- EMPLOYMENT LAW FOR EMPLOYERS- Advice and counsel on personnel matters, drafting/reviewing of policies, managing employer-employee disputes, terminations, contracts, pay issues, reviewing and negotiating contracts, representation in EEOC, TWC administrative hearings and overtime pay matters
- EMPLOYMENT LAW FOR EMPLOYEES – Review, advice and counsel on employment agreements; severance agreements; non-compete agreements; repayment of training agreements
- CIVIL LITIGATION – Defending lawsuits in Texas state courts regarding business and employment law issues
